Greg returned to NZ in 1991 and has continued to make furniture for the international market as well as sell to local collectors and people wanting artistic yet functional furniture.

Greg has also recently developed an interest in kinetic outdoor sculpture and his first piece was selected for the Shapeshifter exhibition by the New Dowse Gallery in 2009.

Greg has presented to many audiences and has been represented in a variety of media including television and print.

“There are many qualities inherent in the work of Greg Bloomfield, the investment of time, the craftsmanship, the exceptional finish; but the strongest quality is the distinctive authorship of his work…  His pieces are light hearted and animated, yet contain the value and longevity of a future heirloom.”
